Ringception privacy policy

The short version

• Ringception collects nothing. No accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs.
• It makes no network requests of its own. Nothing you do in Ringception leaves your device.
• Its App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected.”

What Ringception stores, and where

Everything Ringception remembers — your ring and theme settings, timer durations, and Clockwork progression (Ticks, level, streak, unlocked secrets) — lives on your own device, inside the app’s sandbox container. None of it is transmitted anywhere. Deleting the app deletes it.

Ringception never reads your files, calendar, contacts, location, camera, microphone, or clipboard, and claims no entitlement that would let it.

Purchases

Ringception Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple’s App Store through StoreKit. Ringception never sees, receives, or stores your name, email address, or payment details — Apple processes the transaction and tells the app only whether the purchase exists. Apple’s handling of that transaction is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. This is the only circumstance in which the app communicates off-device, and it does so through Apple’s frameworks rather than by contacting any server operated by us.

Verification

This is not merely a promise; it is checkable in the shipped app: the macOS build requests no network entitlement (an App Sandbox app without com.apple.security.network.client cannot make outbound connections at all), the binary links no networking framework, and the source contains no URLSession or equivalent networking API.

Children

Ringception is a clock. It collects no data from anyone, including children under 13, and contains no user-generated content, chat, or advertising.
