Constellary is coming to iPhone and iPad

Our new cosmic roguelike deckbuilder turns a hand of Stars into a changing sky. The complete game is free, with landscape play, accessibility settings and optional Patronage.

The sky is going out. You are the last one who can read it.

Constellary, our new roguelike deckbuilder, is coming to iPhone and iPad. Draw Stars, trace them into powerful Weaves, and build a sky that can carry you through eight increasingly demanding Epochs. Version 1.0 has been submitted to Apple and is awaiting App Review. We will announce availability when it is ready to download.

Turn a handful of Stars into a strategy

Each Night gives you a light target and a limited number of Weaves. Familiar card combinations give you a starting point: find a pair, build a run, or bring Stars from the same House together. Choose what to keep, what to discard, and when to trace your hand.

The choices grow as your run unfolds. Collect Omens that change the way you score, upgrade your Weaves, and use Riftcards to reshape your Atlas. At the Wandering Observatory, spend the Glimmer you earn through play on the pieces your strategy needs. Glimmer is earned in the game and cannot be bought with money.

The Wandering Observatory offers an Omen that adds Resonance when a Weave uses Stars from one House.

The Observatory turns the rewards from one Night into possibilities for the next.

Different Atlases and Vigils offer new ways to approach a run. The daily Nightly Sky gives everyone the same starting sky for that date, and shared seeds let friends explore the same opening. Five guided Lessons and optional Coach hints help you learn. Your current run saves automatically, so you can put it down and return later.

A sky you can make easier to read

Constellary plays in landscape on both iPhone and iPad, with large cards and icons and settings organized into pages. Choose normal, large or largest text, then adjust the presentation to suit you.

Constellary's Colors settings offer Original, Protanopia, Deuteranopia, Tritanopia and Monochrome palettes, alongside a legend of House shapes.

House shapes carry information alongside color, and the Colors page offers several ways to see the sky.

Settings include palettes for protanopia, deuteranopia and tritanopia, plus monochrome, high contrast, reduced motion and reduced flashes. House shapes and visible selection marks help distinguish cards beyond color alone. Sound and music controls are available too.

The complete game is free

Every gameplay system and all progression are available for free. The optional, one-time Patronage purchase adds four cosmetic Skies — Ember, Tide, Eclipse and Gale — and the full Epoch soundtrack. It does not change scoring, progression or gameplay. The Waning Sky can be earned simply by reaching Epoch IV.

The Patronage screen explains that one purchase adds four Skies and the full soundtrack, while all gameplay stays free. Purchase and Restore Purchases buttons appear below.

Patronage adds more ways to dress and hear the sky. The game remains fully playable without it.

Constellary works offline, with no account, ads or developer analytics. Your saved run, progress and settings stay on your device. App Store purchases and restoration require a connection. Read the Constellary privacy policy for details.

Every constellation and visual is drawn procedurally, accompanied by an original soundtrack. These screenshots show the current game build.

Coming soon to iPhone and iPad, with the initial App Store release planned for the United States. Follow our newsroom or RSS feed for the launch announcement.
